Abstrakt
Can you imagine a method which appeals to believers, spiritual seekers as well as atheistic individuals? A method which includes the wisdom of the ages, deep inner spirituality of every one of us or respect for the ancient Scripture in our culture? A method which combines theology and psychology, theory and therapy? The following paper seeks to introduce hagiotherapy which could be an answer to the aforementioned questions. This method of treatment effectively interconnects theological, religious as well as psychological studies.
In a community of patients, a depth psychological interpretation of the Bible can motivate one to reflect on oneself, others, the world and God - in a new light.
