Proteomic approaches to the study of renal mitochondria

Publication at Faculty of Medicine in Pilsen |
2016

Abstract

Dysfunction of renal mitochondria can be observed in the pathogenesis of a number of renal disorders. Proteomic methods are used for analysis of mitochondrial proteins and protein complexes in animal kidney models and humans in the course of various pathologic states.

Proteomics of renal mitochondria are useful for understanding pathology and discovering potential targets for therapy.
