Abstrakt
A new dialect corpus is currently under construction in the Spoken corpora section of the Institute of the Czech National Corpus, the first of its kind in this context: DIALEKT. The aim of the present paper is to introduce the DIALEKT corpus in general, the methodology of dialect data collection, the sociolinguistic parameters of the corpus and its transcription scheme.
