Attempts to incorporate language law in the Czech Republic

Abstract

Although the Czech Republic's legislation does not indicate the Czech language as national/state/official one, attempts to incorporate such a declarative label into the legal system carried out in the past. This article analyzes the attitudes of politicians through (unsuccessfully) proposed language policy legislation.
