Abstract
The paper deals with the moneyman JUDr. Jaromír Rašín, the nephew of a well-known politician Alois Rašín.
The focus lies in his attempts of the fulfi lment in the cultural sphere. Furthermore the article outlines one of the possibilities for a businessman's lifestyle in the so called First Republic in Czechoslovakia
