Publication |
2015

Abstract

This publication presents in detail one of the main outcomes of the project PŘEKVAP (Anticipating qualification requirements of the labour market). It is an "ideal" process in anticipation of labour market trends in the Czech Republic.

The proposed model has two main levels - national and regional. The proposed model of forecasting qualification requirements has two main characteristics.

Firstly it includes a strong role of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (MPSV) and the Directorate General of Labour Office (GŘ ÚP) at the central level and the role of regional Labour Offices (KrP ÚP) at regional level and these two spheres connects as much as possible. Secondly outlines a regular annual cycle for the process of forecasting.

And thus links the national (central) and regional level for preparing projections of demand and supply of skills on the labour market. This allows the MPSV as a representative of the state in this area, possibility the whole process of predicting not only efficiently and effectively coordinate and adjust, but at the same time it puts the responsibility for that will actually run as intended and meet the goals, which puts.

At the same time, however, it draws regional LOs to work with data and information not only on the regional level but also at the national level, enabling them analyse their specific events in their region in a wider context. Part of the project outcomes was to create any forecast at national level.

Therefore this publication also describes in detail the steps that have been in the course of creating this forecast performed. The publication also describes data sources that are usable to use for the individual steps of forecasts.
