Abstrakt
New technologies leading to an increase in the effect of chemical weapons are briefly described in this chapter. Different groups of chemical compounds that are applicable as chemical warfare agents are mentioned.
From these groups, many agents that are highly effective in vivo include toxic carbamates, new organophosphates, some incapacitants, and other compounds. However, none of the compounds was known to be contained in the military stocks of armies or misused by terroristic groups.
