Abstract
Proceedings is dedicated to ecological (close to nature) restoration of disturbed areas mining or industrial dumping ground. It should state brief compendium of knowledge that have been collected in the Czech Republic within the young discipline of ecology restoration (restoration ecology) and its applications in environmental restoration (ecological restoration) sites disturbed by mining.
