Abstract
Cardiovascular medicine includes several traditional disciplines, which were constituted at the end of the last century from the original internal medicine and surgery. At present, however, cardiologists, angiologists, cardiac surgeons, vascular surgeons, radiologists and intensivists produce in larger hospitals joint teams in order to optimize the diagnosis and treatment of their patients.
In other countries, similar to the team of doctors is usually called the "heart team", each specializing in it brings the knowledge and the specifics of their field.
