Abstract

The subject of this work is an anthropological analysis and interdisciplinary interpretation of the origins of the human genus in the context of developmental changes of prehistoric culture. Anthropogenesis is systematically examined in terms of the genesis of culture as a universal technology of humankind and specific system of means and mechanisms through which members of the Homo genus adapt to the environment.

The book consists of five relatively independent parts analyzing the role of man, the origin of man, the human evolution and the genesis of human imagination and creativity in the Upper Paleolithic period from different viewpoints.
