New hominin finds and their meaning for the recent understandig of phylogeny of humans and their ancestors(2)
Abstract
Interpretation of new hominine find, namely those of australopithecines and their ancestors, is a key topic for scientists and teachers. A comparative analysis of the new data resulting from the study of new hominin taxon Australopithecus deyiremeda shows how the new finds are usually presented as well as the most frequent problems following from simplified and one-sided presentations and how to avoid imprecise and false interpretations.
We can demonstrate on the examples od evolutiona of australopithecine evolution and the origin of genus Homo that interpretation of new hominin finds needs enough time for evaluation of various scientists to keep broader and more general framework for the interpretation and reconstruction of hominin phylogeny as a whole
