Abstrakt
The chapter is concerned with the various aspects of translating comics as a unique literary medium to the screen and the specifics of this translation as opposed to the relationship between films and conventional literature. It examines how various communication channels are transformed in order to conform to the possibilities and expectations of each medium.
Special attention is given to the influence of pacing on the viability of selected narrative approaches.
