Publication at Faculty of Arts |

Abstract

In this article, the legacy of James Joyce's ""materialist"" poetics is examined within the context of post-1984 British fiction. Authors covered include Martin Amis, Will Self, Jonathan Coe, and most importantly, Iain Sinclair, whose psychogeographical poetics is seen-of the authors discussed-as the most intriguing and only ""true"" followership of Joyce's poetics.
