Abstract
The textbook aims to develop speaking and writing skills of non-native learners of Czech at the CEFR level B2/C1, focusing on adequate use of language with respect to the style and form of communication (spoken/written, formal/informal, monologic/dialogic). The textbook consists of thirteen lessons containing authentic written and spoken texts, characteristics of different functional styles (administrative, publicistic, scientific), lexical and grammatical exercices, speaking and writing activities, taking into account the specifics of spoken and written language.
