Abstract

Linguistics Prague 2015 is the third year of a linguistic conference designed primarily for postgradual students, advanced pregraduate students and postdoctoral linguists in the Czech Republic. The conference provides a forum for presenting and discussing linguistic projects among students across different linguistic and philological disciplines.

The workshop section focuses on recent, empirically grounded approaches to linguistic research with particular attention given to the methodological aspects of linguistic analysis. This year's program included workshops devoted to critical discourse analysis, language disorders, sign language and Czech of Czech deaf people, language consultation services, and annotations of spoken data.
