Abstract
Low robustness of data from the Labour Force Survey (LFS) for analysis and projections at the regional level causing the need to seek additional data and methods that could be used. This publication is in the first part focused on the analysis of the National System of Occupations (NSP).
The advantage of NSP is a detailed definition of the qualification requirements defined for jobs at detail level. Unfortunately jobs in the NSP are not defined representatively with comparison with current structure of job at the labour market.
The second part of the book focuses on a specific method applicable for the regional projection. This model is based on the analysis of financial and other indicators of individual companies (entities).
Based on their analysis provides a model projection of their further development. The results of this prediction model are compared with the employers survey published in the South Moravian Region.
