Abstract

The paper will focus critical reflection of postmodern approaches in anthropological thinking (James Clifford, Stephan A. Tyler, George.

E. Marcus, Renato Rosaldo), which take the ideas of social constructivism radical relativism.

It will monitor critical discussion of epistemic relativism led in the 20th century philosophy (Willard V. O.

Quine Wilfrid Sellars, Donald Davidson). This paper aims to describe interdisciplinary theoretical approaches, which are discussed in the context of the philosophy of science, in particular the arguments against epistemickému relativism of postmodern theoretical approaches in anthropology.
