The original types of seven cirripede taxa recorded between 1885 and 1887 by J. Kafka and A.

Fritsch et J. Kafka are redescribed and reillustrated.

These stalked (scalpellomorph) and sessile (brachylepadomorph) species include 'Scillaelepas' conica (REUSS, 1844), Titanolepas tuberculata (DARWIN, 1851), Cretiscalpellum glabrum (ROEMER, 1841), Cretiscalpellum striatum (DARWIN, 1851), Arcoscalpellum angustatum (GEINITZ, 1843), Arcoscalpellum maximum (J. DE C.

SOWERBY, 1829) and Brachylepas fallax (DARWIN, 1851). Information on the palaeoecology and taphonomy of these cirripedes in the Bohemian Cretaceous Basin (the Czech Republic) has been added.
