Abstrakt
The innovations proposed in this article deal with Optics & Photonics teaching, from a collaborative prospective. Several simulations of optics phenomena are presented, to support the teaching in the classroom.
Originally developed in MATLAB, the simulations are being migrated to JAVA and compiled on a website, which will allow the student to run the simulations from anywhere using an interne connection. As a first step in building the website, a survey has been conducted among students from different universities (Saint Louis University Madrid Campus, University of Alcala in Spain, and Charles University in Prague), to collect their needs and expectations to properly design the website.
Results from this survey show the expectations and needs detected among the students.
