How the initial leter h was marked in the transcription of the Uighur-Mongolian original of the SHM and subsequently in its Chinese transcription

Abstract

The paper present the way how the initial h was written in the Uighur-Mongolian original of the Secret History of the Mongols and further in its Chinese transcription.
