Abstract
In the summer of 1907 Otokar Fischer made a trip to the North of Europe. Afterwards, in the same year, he published (under the pseudonym Ben Amort) two "letters" addressed to an "Esteemed Miss" in the Národní listy newspaper.
Their vagarious, volatile "pêle-mêle" stylisation is a remarkable basis for observations and minor reflections, ranging into a variety of areas (including the current national-political issue).
