Abstract
The book describes the general integration of physiology and pathophysiology in the system of medical sciences and their historical development. After a general introduction, where physiology and pathophysiology drawn from many disciplines, including biology, molecular biology, genetics, medical physics and physiological chemistry, they are discussed various systems of the human body.
Attention is paid not only basic functions but also regulatory mechanisms and disorders, and particularly emphasized the mutual cooperation of these systems in health and disease.
