Generalized pustular psoriasis of von Zumbusch (GPP-VZ) is an acute rare variant of psoriasis often associated with systemic symptoms such as fever, chills, malaise, infections and dehydration. The clinical picture consists of extensive sterile pustules on widespread erythema.
Abnormal laboratory values are typical such as leucocytosis, neutrophilia, elevated C-reactive protein (CRP) and erythrocyte sedimentation rate.
