Diabetes mellitus and an inadequately controlled bronchial asthma

Abstract

Systemic corticosteroid therapy for asthma currently treated for diabetes mellitus, brings a high risk of poor metabolic control. This case report is concerned with effect of treatment with omalizumab in a young patient with a combination of severe bronchial asthma and diabetes mellitus.
