Expatriate Laws in the Context of Minority Legislation

Abstract

The article aims to place the issue of so-called expatriate laws in the context of minority legislation. It points out that while the common minority legislation stems from the principles of anti-discrimination, the expatriate legislation is based on the principle of positive discrimination and on the equalization of chances.

Morover, the article deals with the relation between expatriate issue and the question of repatriation and state citizenship.
