Abstract
The aim of the chapter is to study diasporas with regard to development, emphasizing the role of diasporas as an interface between donors and target countries. The potential of diasporas to fulfill this role is examined.
Vietnamese, Ukrainian, and Belorussian diasporas in the Czech Republic are studied as cases. Pros and cons of involvement of diasporas into development are analyzed.
