The paper presentthe results of convetional cytogeneticexaminations perfomed within the Framework of preventive examinations during the occupational medical care of medical personnel working with cytostatic drugs in the period of 2006-2013. The cohort includes 115 subjects of medical personnel ( doctors, nures, care workes, pharmaceutical technicians, and sanitary workers ).
The results of all worplaces are divided to those before the beginning of the activities of the department of central dilutions of the cytostatic drugs and after the startup. Moreover, the results are classified according to workplaces with higher number of workes and smoking habits.
In conclusion the author established that the rate of chromosomal aberrations in all observed clinical workplaces decreased after the startup of the central cytostatic dilution department. It has also become obvious that with increasing age the rate of chromosomal aberrations in the observed cohort increased.
No effect of the smoking habits was unambiquously observed.
