Abstract
The article evaluates the edition of correspondence between Professor Vaclav Vojtíšek and Pilsner archivist Fridolin Machacek. The edition is accompanied by a thorough study of the relationships of two studied historians.
It provides valuable information about the situation in the Czech archival science particularly between two wars.
