Abstract
A rare disease in recent years increased attention, both at European and national level. The Czech government agreed on 14. 6. 2010 (Government Resolution no. 466), "National Strategy for rare diseases 2010-2020".
The aim of that national strategy is early diagnosis and access to appropriate treatment of rare diseases, coordination and centralization of care for patients with rare diseases and improving education and information for professionals and the general public.
