Monograph provides a comprehensive interdisciplinary view of dyspnea in acute, chronic and exacerbated stages of various diseases. In the opening chapters the authors deal with the physiological and pathophysiological mechanisms of breathlessness, its causes and evaluation including medical history analysis and differential diagnostic algorithms.
