Abstract

Abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) is related with higher age and poses a serious threat to the patient's life. Aneurysms larger than 5,5 cm in diameter are indicated for open or endovascular repair.

Giant aneurysms are rarely encountered due to a high risk of rupture. We present a case report of such a giant aneurysm and its open repair.
