Abstract

Necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC) is the most common and most serious acute gastrointestinal tract diseases in newborns. n the early stage is very difficult differential diagnosis between NEC and sepsis. On the way towards improved diagnostics are biological markers of intestinal damage .
