Pedagogical challenges of distance and online language teaching

Abstract

This work aims confrontation of opposite models of pedagogy present in online teaching. This is not to carry what works in face to face teaching to online virtual class, but being able to understand that specific medium requires a specific pedagogy.

Here are collected some proposals on pedagogical skills frames for teachers in online teaching to, at the end, criticize the tutor-learning centered focus. At the end the focus is put on student-centered teaching both from a constructivist approach and from a psychologistic approach.
