Children's otolaryngology: the most common situation in clinical practice

Abstract

Team of authors chose to handle the most common situations encountered by ambulatory care for children with diseases of the ear, nose and throat, such as otitis media, pharyngitis, rhinosinusitis, adenoidectomy, tonsillectomy, hearing tests and infectious disease. Two chapters relate new information about failures breathing during sleep and extraezofageálním reflux.

The topics are based on current knowledge and evidence. Unlike systematic textbook authors clinics for this book from the practical needs of physicians in the clinic and tries to answer specific questions (indication for surgery, for examination when treated with antibiotics, the child only watch, etc.).

Publications that our professional book market is still lacking, is intended otolaryngologům outpatient pediatric patients, but will also benefit as a supplementary textbook to prepare for attestation of ENT and interesting for practical paediatricians.
