Abstract

The book time with the analytical and editorial development of the relationship of the topic of TG Masaryk with the Russians and Ukrainians in this volume for the period 1918-1937. In the editorial section presents a total of 1,046 documents correspondence.

Of this number, a total of 502 documents brings the full text version of the remaining 544 units recorded in correspondence annotations. It is in the vast majority of correspondence exiles fleeing from the territories of former tsarist Russia now, after 1917, scattered across Europe and the world who have some or other motives and reasons addressed to the Czechoslovak president.

A set of documents that in itself brings a distinctive testimony about the fate of the masses of refugees and individuals, a way of perceiving the lost and re-created identity of people who find themselves outside their homeland.
