Abstract
The chapter started with the differentiation between behavioral and holistic approaches to corruption analysis. In the text the holistic perspective is adopted and frurther worked out to the concepts of institutional and systemic corruption.
From the position of the concept of systemic corruption the basic parameters, mechnisms and causes of political corruption are identified. At the end of the text the incremental and revolutionary anti-corruption strategies are discussed.
