Abstract
LADA and MODY are frequently occurring forms of diabetes of different etiology, treatment and prognosis, that may share some common clinical characteristics. This article highlights the importance of correct etiological diagnostic as a key prerequisite for a disease-tailored treatment and improvement of diabetes control.
