Abstract
The fairy tale Three Nuts for Cinderella was premiered on TV on Christmas Day in 1974. As this paper shows by means of a detailed analysis of the changes in TV programming over the course of the last 40 years, the holiday TV scheme went through remarkable changes and Three Nuts for Cinderella became an important Christmas film for Czech TV channels only as recentlyas 2004.
