Measuring the intangible value of social services

Abstract

Organizations of the civil sector are currently facing increased demands to declare the impacts of their projects, and there is a related question, how to measure and evaluate them. The paper presents the example of the United Kingdom (UK) where the contracting authority decided to grant the upcoming challenge in the social services according to social value indicator.

Social Earnings Ratio (S / E Ratio) was a methodological tool for measuring the intangible value of social services.
