Concise Biostatistics for Doctors

Publication at Third Faculty of Medicine |
2015

Abstract

This publication primarily aims to acquaint, using a concise form, doctors with the basic methods used in the evaluation of medical data. The book describes the principles of inductive statistical inference, which are widely used in all areas of evaluation of biological data as a medical tool based on evidence.

The goal of the text is to overcome the seemingly insurmountable distance between medicine and mathematics and find a common language which provides medicine with an objective tool for the assessment of biological data.
