Literary and fine art activity of Henryk Waniek in the context of multicultural history of the Lower Silesia region

Abstract
The article gives a selective presentation of artistic activity performing by one of the finest Polish artist Henryk Waniek born in 1942. He graduated Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow and is mainly known as a symbolic painter and essayist fascinated in philosophical, historical and esoteric background of the Silesia region.
His original painting and literature place his fascination far beyond political and national debate.
