Abstract
This article covers specific journalistic phenomenon - presentation of events as human interest stories. The text analyses news coverage of dead refugee child Aylan Kurdi, who in September 2015 became symbol of so called refugee crisis.
The article tries to define the principles on which Aylan's story stands.
