Abstract
The study focuses on the reconstruction of the Hvězda summer residence in Prague as a gunpowder store, which took place in 1779 - 1781. Based on an analysis of the historical sources, it deals with the construction works' process, expended financial resources and the building's equipment after completion of the adaptation.
