Review of two recent books on the history of body and embodiment in the Czech lands, 19th-20th century. Both books were collective monographs made the same collective of authors: Milena Lenderová, Daniela Tinková a Vladan Hanulík.
The review evaluates the contribution of the two books to the ongoing debates about body and embodiment in the history of Czech lands in the 19th and the 20th century. Author positively asses mainly that the collective of editors opened up particular new topics related to the issue of body and that they displayed a great work with sources.
