Abstract
In this paper concerning human nature by Benedict de Spinoza is presented our idea of "double nature". This paper is introduced by chapters on intellect, imagination, memory, three different kinds of knowledge and double nature.
This idea of double nature is deductible from the concept of adequate and inadequate knowledge. This topic is treated in part II, III and IV of Ethics where the question of "adequate nature" and "inadequate nature" is discussed.
