Abstract
The municipal emblem is an important and in many ways irreplaceable element of municipality's image building and strengthening local identity. It is not only the most prominent representative of the municipality, but if properly grasped and understood, it forms a dynamic part of the community life, regardless of whether it is a historical symbol or a modern one.
