Fifty-five years old man with thrombocytopenia and life-threatening diffuse alveolar haemorrhage: Case report

Abstract

The case report of a patient with acute respiratory failure due to life threatening hemoptysis resulting from severe and refractory thrombocytopenia is presented here, together with diagnostics, differential diagnostics, and management of such illness.
