Abstract

Paper compares relationship of jihadist groups to territory. The aims of the paper are to asses whether some similarities may be found among the relationship of these non-state actors to territory and how these relate to the political territoriality of state.

Paper compares three aspects of the utilization of territory - economic, security, and identity.
