Abstract
Sixty six-year old man with a history of arterial hypertension was in his excellent quality of life until he had suffered from community acquired pneumonia. He was successfully treated with empiric antibiotic in outpatient setting.
However, painless jaundice, progressive dyspnea and intermittent chest pain developed about two weeks later. He sought his GP who referred him to the regional hospital immediately.
Next, he was transferred to the Teaching Hospital in Pilsen due to his serious health condition shortly after the ambulatory examination. The case report describes and discusses the complicated course and management of a rare disease.
