Abstract

The perinatal transfer of Campylobacter has only rarely been recognized as Campylobascter is one of the most common pathogens causing bacterial enteritis in children. This infection is usually considered to be zoonosis.

The present study also provided confirmatory evidence of less common ways of Campylobacter transmission in neonates.
